About Me

“Our only security is our ability to change.” –JC Lilly

Michael Hageloh spent 22 years at Apple, beginning as a systems engineer and ultimately becoming a rainmaker. He experienced the company’s near-bankruptcy firsthand, witnessed the return of Steve Jobs, and played a role during the launch of the iconic “i” products.

Since leaving Apple, he has taken on a range of different roles—“jam sessions,” as he calls them—working with entrepreneurial startups that need rhythm, storytelling, and performance to grow.

Michael also brings a strong background in academia and fundraising. He has served as Director of Special Projects, Senior Director of Development, and Capital Campaign Officer, and has been an event judge for Startup EDU, powered by the Kauffman Foundation.

Over the course of his career, he has generated nearly $1 billion in real, measurable results.

A former disco drummer, Michael is a high-energy speaker, a beat-ahead thinker, and a charismatic mentor. He has appeared on national and international podcasts, as well as on Fox Business and local Texas television, and has been published in Fast Company, MarketWatch, and Business Insider. His current book is a best-selling success.

He currently serves as Chief Development Officer in higher education.

“Remember, this show we call life is not a rehearsal—so make every performance count.”
